verjtest analyses video of athletes and stores results about them. This is what happens to each.

Clips

A clip is read in your browser, on your device, by a pose model that finds the positions of the hips, knees and ankles. Each frame is dropped as soon as it has been read. The clip is not uploaded — with one exception you choose: signed in, you can tick "keep the clip" when saving a test, and that clip is stored with the result so you can watch it again.

The pose model and its runtime are downloaded from Google's model storage and from jsDelivr the first time you analyse a clip, like any other file a web page loads. They are not sent your video.

Athletes

You enter the athletes: a name, a squad, a position, notes. Use whatever name you like — initials or a shirt number work as well as a full name. If your club tests minors, follow your club's own rules for their data.

Without an account

The squad and every result stay in this browser, on this device. They are not sent anywhere. Clearing the browser's data deletes them.

With an account

The same records are kept on our server so they open on your other devices, and the clips you choose to keep are stored there as files. Only your account can read them. Your email address and password are used to sign you in; the password is stored only as a slow, salted hash. If you sign in with Google, we receive your email address and Google's id for your account, nothing else. Each sign-in is logged with its IP address for 90 days.

The squad summary

Signed in, the squad table has a "Summarise" button. It sends the table's numbers to Anthropic's Claude to write a few sentences about it. Athletes are sent as codes (a1, a2…), never by name, and the names are put back on your device.

Measurement

We count visits and signed-in users with lytics, an analytics service run by the same people as verjtest. It records which account signed in by its internal id, never by email address.

Email

We email you only about your account (for example, if someone tries to register with your address), and reply to a demo request at the address it gave.

Deleting

Deleting an athlete or a test deletes it everywhere it was synced. To close your account and erase everything in it, write to us with the address you signed up with.
